Live Seller & Social Media Operator

Role Overview

As a Live Seller & Social Media Operator you will be the on-camera face and behind-the-scenes voice of Eco Brand Japan. You will energise livestream audiences, nurture our online community and collaborate with marketing and operations teams to spotlight pre-loved luxury pieces every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host live selling sessions that educate, entertain and convert viewers into loyal customers.
  • Present, explain and style pre-loved luxury bags and accessories with clear on-camera storytelling.
  • Facilitate interactive chat conversations, respond to questions and highlight purchase incentives in real time.
  • Coordinate with operations to process orders, confirm stock and prepare shipments following each show.
  • Plan weekly content calendars that promote livestreams, new arrivals and brand campaigns across Instagram, TikTok and other key channels.
  • Create and edit short-form videos, product spotlights and behind-the-scenes stories optimised for each platform.
  • Publish content on schedule, uphold brand voice guidelines and ensure captions, hashtags and links drive measurable results.
  • Monitor performance analytics, report insights and propose experiments that grow audience reach and sales.
  • Follow all company compliance rules.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Fluent English communication skills with confidence speaking on camera; conversational Japanese is a plus.
  • Previous experience in livestream selling, social media management or digital content creation.
  • Experience working in brand representation and customer engagement.
  • Comfort using video editing and design tools such as CapCut, Canva or equivalent software.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and content scheduling tools.
  • Strong interest in luxury fashion brands and the global resale market.
  • Organised self-starter who can manage multiple deadlines across shows, shoots and publishing schedules.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner with creative, marketing and operations teams.
  • Valid Visa to work in Japan; domestic applicants only.

What You Need to Know

  • Typical schedule: 5 hours per day, 3-5 days per week; probation period applies.
