Job Summary

The Inventory & Logistics Specialist manages product movement from authentication through shipment. You will collaborate across teams to maintain accurate records, protect product quality and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Authenticate luxury handbags and accessories using brand-specific standards.
  • Investigate questionable items and stay current on counterfeit detection trends.
  • Record and reconcile inventory data, resolving discrepancies quickly.
  • Manage product flow, including returns, damages and stock adjustments.
  • Maintain clean, organised storage areas that support efficient picking.
  • Coordinate daily transfers between departments, warehouses and partners.
  • Prepare accurate domestic and international shipping documentation and labels.
  • Monitor courier performance, addressing delivery, customs or compliance issues.
  • Track freight spend and recommend cost-saving improvements.
  • Inspect inbound and outbound items to uphold quality and listing accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed inventory and shipment records, producing timely reports.
  • Share status updates with purchasing, sales and customer service teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in secondhand luxury goods.
  • Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and inventory management tools – knowledge in ERP systems (SAP), Notion and Slack is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English communication; JLPT N3 or above is a plus.
  • Post-college or university degree (Bachelor's) is required.
  • Valid Japan work visa with at least one year of eligibility remaining.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in luxury consignment or resale.
  • Luxury authentication certifications.
  • Understanding of international shipping procedures and customs.

Physical Requirements

Comfortable standing, moving and lifting 15–20 kg as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Performance bonus eligibility after one year.
  • Reimbursed commuter costs from home to office.
  • Salary range of 270,000-300,000 yen with annual performance reviews and merit-based increases.

What You Need to Know

  • Eligibility: Working Holiday Visa holders are not eligible to apply. Visa renewal sponsorship after six months of proven performance.
